About the Role
This role is within the friendly and creative team international marketing team who work in close collaboration with colleagues across the world, and the international sales and editorial teams to support schools and booksellers in over 170 countries. To find out more, visit:
This role is particularly exciting as it works on our high-profile Oxford International Curriculum portfolio. It provides the post holder with the opportunity to develop a deep understanding of this product offer, becoming the marketing expert on the curriculum and resources across multiple regions. The post holder will develop, manage and implement marketing strategy in order to increase brand awareness, sales revenue and market share. This involves producing print campaigns, such as catalogues, but it also has a particular focus on digital marketing, including email, social media, PPC and Google Analytics.
A typical day might include speaking to a colleague in the Gulf on Teams, writing marketing strategy, monitoring budgets, holding a catch up meeting with the marketing coordinator, briefing a designer on a brochure and creating digital content for use on social media. No one day is ever the same!
We operate a hybrid working policy that requires a minimum of 2 days per week in the Oxford office.
About You
You will be a creative, customer-focused individual who learns quickly and has the ability to understand and respond to market need, driving the continual development of our marketing strategy globally.
The successful candidate will have:
Essential:
Strategic marketing experience at Assistant Marketing Manager or Marketing Executive level working across all channels
Stakeholder management skills
Excellent interpersonal, communication and team working skills
Experience of managing a budget
Ability to prioritise a heavy workload with maximum attention to detail
Good presentation skills
Creative problem-solving skills and an innovative approach
Experience of managing projects
Desirable:
Publishing or marketing qualifications (e.g. CIM)
Knowledge of the schools’ market
A willingness to undertake occasional travel
