About the Role
We are looking for an experienced sales/marketing professional to join our vibrant Educational & Marketing Services team in the English Language Teaching division.
The purpose of the job is retaining and growing our relationships with our customers in Private Language Schools, Multi Academy Trusts, Consortiums, English Hubs, senior leadership teams across sectors and educational institutions with a focus solely on English Language Teaching.
The role will collaborate with the product and marketing teams to develop awareness of our customers and their needs.
Key responsibilities in this role will include:
Take responsibility for self-learning and upskilling based on key market drivers and customer needs.
Maintain, develop, and grow relationships with customers in all educational settings.
Drive partnerships with key bodies, institutions, and associations that share Oxford University Press’s ethos and commitment to excellence.
Develop an annual and termly promotions plan for the relevant territory with the support of the Area Manager.
Collaborate with the wider business to ensure we provide products and services to meet the needs of our customers.
Attend and lead at exhibitions and events in line with the regional marketing plans.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on promotional activities.

This is a field-based position, covering the UK and Ireland predominantly, and you will be required to travel within your region visiting clients and customers. There will also be the opportunity to travel to other regions when required.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
Educational publishing sales/marketing experience
Experience working with large educational stakeholders and key senior influencers across the education landscape
Experience of analysing economic factors and trends to inform activity and feedback to the wider business
Good level of English Language skills and excellent communication skills
Experience of teaching/teaching support (desirable)
A good working knowledge/understanding of Customer Relationship Management systems
Willingness to travel to all areas of territory (including effective territory planning skills)
Coaching/Mentoring experience (desirable)
Confident in using Microsoft Teams or similar, to present
A valid full driving licence
