Administrator: Trade Sales

The Trade department is looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to provide essential support with daily operations and ongoing monitoring of key processes and procedures that are pivotal to the trade sales team.

This role has interaction with lots of different departments and would be a great introduction for candidates that are interested in how publishing works and understanding the industry. It would suit individuals with a strong admin background looking to use their skills within a different setting.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing administrative support and working with key account managers to support their sales strategies.
  • Providing regular reports, sales analysis and general administrative support to ensure key account managers have up to date sales tools available to support their work.
  • Reviewing current best practice procedures and efficiencies and identifying gaps or areas for improvement in order to successfully support the Trade team.
  • Delivering a high level of service both to customers and internal colleagues and cascading the feedback to the wider Trade Sales team.
  • To agree, plan, and execute upcoming campaigns that are in line with the market strategy, taking into consideration the needs of the customer and business.
  • To manage and update the Trade Sales shared google drive with key resources and maintain various audit spreadsheets to collate data for Account Managers.

About you

The successful candidates will need to demonstrate:

  • A high level of computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel (Intermediate).
  • Excellent organisation skills and the ability to juggle a busy and varied workload.
  • Experience of data analysis and a very keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Enthusiasm to work and interact with various sales teams.
