About the Role

We have a great opportunity to progress your career as an Assistant Marketing Manager at OUP. You’ll play a key role in the development and delivery of our email marketing and automated campaigns, promoting our world leading ELT (English Language Teaching) products and services.

Key duties of the role will include:

  • Support the planning, development and implementation of global email marketing campaigns.
  • Manage the email campaign lifecycle from design through to delivery including set up, testing, content, deployment, reporting and continuous improvement.
  • Understand customer segmentation to maximise campaign effectiveness whilst complying with industry regulations and best practice.

This position is based in Oxford, however we’re all currently working from home at the moment due to COVID.  We are currently thinking through how we use our offices in the future and are open to discussing flexibility within this, such as a blend of office and home working.

About You

You’ll be an experienced Marketing professional, with great communication skills, who enjoys supporting the full lifecycle of email marketing campaigns. We use DotDigital, so you’ll be comfortable with this or a similar platform. 

You will have:

  • Knowledge of using large scale email service provider platforms.
  • Proficiency with Photoshop or other graphics editors.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills.
  • Good organisational skills, results oriented, keen attention to detail and deadline focused.
  • Ability to act as a team player and foster a collaborative team environment.
  • Ability to think creatively and demonstrate effective problem-solving skills.
