Customer Events Administrator

About the Role

The Customer  Events Administrator will be responsible for coordinating the logistics of the worldwide and virtual training programme to ensure its smooth running to the satisfaction of internal and external customers. This will include:

Key responsibilities:

  • Liaising with local offices, authors and teacher trainers worldwide over event or webinar bookings, travel arrangements and itineraries
  • Working with travel agents to order tickets
  • Updating travel schedules and event requirements and circulating to relevant contacts
  • Processing feedback forms and creating and distributing certificates
  • Dealing with expenses, invoices and recharging.
  • Keeping detailed records on authors and trainers and completed tours.
  • Dealing diplomatically with problems such as cancellations, complaints, etc.
  • The creation and management of online registration areas using our event management system.
  • Extracting and formatting mailings lists for online and offline events.

Key skills required:

  • Good general education with proficiency in English Language
  • High standard of secretarial and organisational skills
  • Have experience of working with Excel formulae
  • The ability to communicate diplomatically with a wide variety of people
  • Ability to prioritise a challenging workload and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good knowledge of all mainstream computer applications.

Additional desires and experience.

  • Interest in English Language Teaching
  • Travel agency/International Travel experience
  • Have knowledge and experience of HTML
  • Experience of attending and/or running webinars
  • Knowledge and experience of using an event management system
  • Knowledge and experience of using a mass-email or email marketing system
  • Have customer service experience
