About the role

We are looking for an efficient, well-organised, and professional person to provide administrative and secretarial support to the Group Compliance Officer and Group Director of Assurance and their teams. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates that are looking for a busy and varied role and enjoy working with senior staff and organising events and conferences.

 Duties will include:

  • Carrying out administrative and secretarial tasks to ensure the departments run smoothly.
  • Taking and issuing minutes at formal meetings, and following up actions.
  • Dealing with certain Group Compliance/Group Assurance responsibilities, including purchasing activities.
  • Arranging overseas travel.
  • Maintaining the diaries of the Group Compliance Officer and Group Director of Assurance.
  • Supporting and developing Group Compliance and Group Assurance procedures and processes.
  • Controlling the setup of new starters for the departments.

About you

  • The successful candidates will demonstrate:
  • Experience of providing administrative support at a senior level.
  • A good level of IT skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • The highest level of confidentiality and discretion regarding departmental matters.
  • Efficiency and exceptional organisational skills.
  • The ability to communicate effectively and appropriately at all levels of the business.
