The Group HR function manages all elements of the employee lifecycle across 57 countries.
Last year, we embarked on an exciting journey, to develop and implement a single global ‘Recruitment System’ and Careers Website, which will unite all 57 countries in their approach to acquiring talent.
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager, to provide maternity cover to lead a programme to implement the third party hosted ‘Recruitment System’ and Careers Website across the OUP office network. Reporting to the Group HR Operations Director, you will be responsible for engaging with senior HR leaders globally, and managing virtual project delivery teams to deliver the project deliverables to scope, time, cost and quality.

ABOUT YOU
To be successful in the role you'll need to:
Demonstrate your experience of delivering projects and leading project teams in a complex geographical/functional matrix organisation
Have experience of working with stakeholders across multiple countries
Demonstrate excellent stakeholder management skills, first rate communication and interpersonal skills, ability to influence senior non-technical and technical staff
Have excellent organisational skills, with the ability to concurrently manage several projects and deliver the required solutions on time and to budget
Demonstrate your experience of managing and negotiating with suppliers and third parties
Be a team player, who is comfortable working in an evolving environment.
Desirable:
Have a good understanding of standard recruitment processes
