Impact Administrator

Oxford Education (OE) brings together OUP’s educational publishing in the UK, Australia, and Africa. It specializes in creating compelling and engaging, high quality education content and materials specifically tailored to address the needs of students around the world. This role works across three divisions: Asia Education, ELT and OE. The Impact Administrator is part of the Central Impact team which supports staff to carry out impact studies. It is based in OE, in the strategy team in Oxford.

About the Role

This is a busy and exciting role working on Oxford Impact. This is a cross-divisional and global initiative and the role involves providing administrative, project coordination, and editorial support.

Responsibilities include

  • Administration: tracking budgets and supporting the team with administrative tasks
  • Coordination: completing and updating documentation and systems information, monitoring and tracking tasks, following best work practices
  • Communication: implementing the communication plan, liaising with colleagues across OUP and with freelancers and suppliers, ensuring communication is optimised
  • Carrying out editorial tasks such as proof reading.

About You

To be successful in this role you must:

  • Be able to deliver work of a high quality to tight deadlines
  • Display high level organisation and communication skills, with strong written skills
  • Be proactive and self-motivated with the ability to carry out tasks unsupervised
  • Be able to juggle and prioritise your workload
  • Demonstrate strong IT skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Display accuracy and attention to detail
  • Take a proactive problem-solving approach to your work
  • Be flexible, diplomatic and professional
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be of graduate calibre or equivalent.

Desirable:

  • An interest in education and curiosity about current issues in educational publishing
  • Editorial experience
  • Experience of working in a project team.
