Information Security Analyst - Data Loss Prevention

We have been a leading figure in publishing for more than 500 years. We have always been a forward-looking organization, maximizing the technology for the day, but the digital revolution is bringing enormous change, fast. That same spirit of adventure and entrepreneurialism is critical to our future success. In a fast changing publishing landscape, OUP welcomes the inquisitive, the inventive, and the ambitious; people who challenge the conventional, and pioneer the possible.

About the Role

Oxford University Press is increasing its Information Security capabilities and improving current processes and practices to ensure that data loss incidents are detected, managed and mitigated effectively, efficiently and in compliance with any applicable legal or regulatory responsibilities. The successful candidate in the new role of Information Security Analyst will work with the ISDP manager, as part of the wider security operations team, to design, refine and embed the new processes globally within the organisation. They will then be carrying out data loss prevention, response and improvement activities to mitigate incidents, evaluate effectiveness of controls and to identify improvements or remediation actions, providing guidance to stakeholders while monitoring and reporting on the timely execution of agreed action plans. The Information Security Analyst will join a growing team with high visibility within the organisation, so ability to communicate at all levels will be required.
