International Sales Support Coordinator

The Education Division publishes children’s books and schoolbooks from pre-school to secondary level in a variety of print & digital formats and across a wide spectrum of subject areas. Our flagship reading programme, Oxford Reading Tree, has taught millions of children to read and is used in 130 countries.

This International Sales team are responsible for the export of these schoolbooks to English medium schools overseas and also publish specific resources for different International curriculum. It is a successful and rapidly growing team working in a fast-paced and varied environment.

About the Role

This exciting role provides sales and administrative support to a busy and growing sales team and key customers within a specified region.

Responsibilities include:

  • Working closely with colleagues in International offices and liaising with internal departments to coordinate prompt delivery of large and complicated stock orders
  • Undertaking a variety of sales and other reporting for the sales team and managers to help maximise sales opportunities
  • Provide point of contact and support for extended sales network by handling product queries and circulation of sales tools to enable them to better perform their promotional duties
  • Assist with organisation of regional overseas sales conferences, product training and events

About You

To be successful in this role you must have:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Significant experience of providing sales support and administrative assistance to a team or proven Customer Services skills
  • Have strong IT skills and with an aptitude for picking up new systems quickly.
  • Good time management, organisation skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to think outside of the box for creative solutions
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Desirable:

  • Understanding of working with an extended sales network and distribution partners
  • Exposure to overseas markets
