JOB VACANCY

Marketing Assistant

The Academic Division publishes books, journals and digital resources for the research, professional and higher education markets. We’re looking for an organised, enthusiastic, and proactive team member to join the busy Higher Education department in the role of marketing assistant.

You’ll be supporting multiple members of the marketing team, and have reporting lines into two different managers, so you need to be very organised and a clear communicator.

You’ll be exposed to a whole range of marketing activities including:

  • Working with designers to produce electronic and printed sales and marketing material
  • Creating e-newsletters and updating the website
  • Administration of goodwill and on-campus initiatives
  • Supporting the sales team and providing conference support

About You

You’ll need to be highly organised, proactive, flexible, and comfortable juggling a busy and varied administrative workload.

Education to degree level or equivalent is desirable. A very high standard of literacy, a keen eye for detail, and excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.   We are looking for someone who will be quick to learn and become comfortable using a range of IT packages, although full training will be given.

As well as being a good entry level position, this role would suit someone with admin experience returning to the workplace.

We are committed to supporting diversity in our workforce, and ensuring an inclusive environment where all employees can thrive. We seek to employ a workforce representative of the markets that we serve, and encourage applications from people of all ethnic, cultural and social backgrounds.
