Marketing Executive (fixed term contract)

The ELT Division is a global leader in the provision of multimedia English language teaching and learning materials. Operating in over 100 countries, it reaches millions of teachers and students each year to support the development of English language proficiency.

About the Role

As a member of the English Language Teaching (ELT) Marketing team, you will support the development and ongoing implementation of customer value propositions for ELT’s global portfolio.

This role is a fixed term contract for six months, supporting with marketing English language materials in primary and secondary education (covering maternity leave).

The successful candidate will:

  • help to define unique selling points (USPs), product positioning, and key sales messages
  • write clear and persuasive copy based on the key sales messages and ensure consistency in usage across different channels e.g. on product packaging and online
  • maintain product copy and assets for marketing use, updating product information for internal and external use e.g. on the ELT website
  • attend discussions with publishing teams, providing support to ensure that the key benefits of the product are clearly communicated in the messaging and product copy
  • contribute to the development of marketing plans with clear marketing objectives and KPIs
  • gather relevant data and research to support understanding of customers, competitors and key markets.

Please note: This is a 6 month fixed term contract with possibility for extension.

About You

To be successful in this role, you must:

  • have a marketing qualification or relevant practical experience
  • possess strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • be able to work to tight deadlines and prioritise successfully
  • be able to analyse and synthesize information
  • have experience of the marketing campaign planning process
  • understand the processes and systems used in marketing
  • act as a team player and foster a collaborative, team environment
  • think creatively and demonstrate effective problem solving skills

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of and experience in the ELT or Education sector, particularly in relation to teaching and learning materials.
