Marketing Executive

About the Role and You

As our new Marketing Executive, you will support the Academic Marketing team in developing and implementing marketing strategies across subject lists, under guidance and based on departmental goals and objectives. You will also support managers across the team on campaign implementation.  Marketing Executives help to develop and implement strategic marketing plans, use data to inform target areas, develop understanding of their subject area, create campaign plans, monitor social media, develop/procure engaging content, attend conferences to gain market knowledge and provide regular reporting and analysis among many other duties!  Success in this role will be monitored against, usage, engagement and society and author happiness!

You will be communicating with people internally and externally, including books, journals and online editorial staff, representatives across the marketing division and other administrative functions as well as key societies, authors, external journal editors, suppliers and new outlets and journalists.

Having already worked in a marketing role, you will have:

  • Experience applying strategy
  • Experience implementing campaigns
  • Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships
  • Strong analytical and communication skills

We are thinking through how we use our offices in the future and are open to discussing flexibility within this such as a blend of office and home working. We expect this role to require approximately 4 days per month in the Oxford office.
