Production Assistant - (Fixed Term Contract/Secondment)

About the role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the busy Schoolbooks Production team in our Education Division.

You will be responsible for managing the production of a large number of reprints, alongside supporting the team in a variety of administrative tasks. The role will also involve liaising with external suppliers and colleagues (such as Demand Planning, Design, Sales and Marketing, and Editorial departments) in order to supply finished products in a smooth, timely and cost-effective manner.

About you:

This would be a great opportunity for someone who has a keen interest in publishing and are starting out in their career, someone who would like to gain experience in an office environment, you will demonstrate;

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Good administration skills
  • Numeracy and literacy, with good attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate information concisely and accurately
  • Ability to work under pressure and be deadline focused
  • Good team player
  • Experience using Excel is desirable (although not essential)

Please note this is a 51 week Fixed Term Contract
