Stock Movements Coordinator

The ELT Division is a global leader in the provision of English language teaching and learning materials. Operating in over 100 countries, it reaches millions of teachers and students each year to support the development of English language proficiency. The Operations team are responsible for the timely manufacture and distribution of materials

About the role

The Stock Movements Coordinator provides administrative and advisory support to the ELT Division on the global flow of goods moving between our major manufacturing bases, and our warehouses or customers globally.

You will be working within a small team where a flexible approach towards workload is essential. Responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring that Purchase Orders for all products are up to date in core system so that accurate information is available to customers and OUP staff.
  • Investigating and implementing new shipping routes with our appointed global shipping providers.
  • Overseeing inbound movements for global ELT warehouses, including preparation of SAP data to support automated processes.
  • Investigation and resolution of problems / delays to deliveries.
  • Reconciliation of stocks between our systems and that of 3rd party warehouse providers.
  • Working with other parties in the Operations team to ensure smooth outbound flow of stock to our distribution partners.

This is a full time permanent position.

About you

We are looking for an efficient and data-centric individual. The position requires excellent computer literacy skills including SAP MM / IM modules, and Excel. MS Access knowledge would be advantageous but is not essential.

It is essential that applicants are meticulous and can perform tasks with a high degree of accuracy. The successful candidate will possess an aptitude for problem solving, confident communication skills, a positive attitude, and an ability to work to tight deadlines.  SAP MM / IM experience is essential.
