The Education Division at OUP is undertaking a number of strategic assessment projects, including new digital assessment services which are reliant on external technology vendors. These platforms provide the capability to manage the end-to-end test delivery process for products in development. Current projects include content creation, test registration and delivery, marking, and provision of results.
Work is required to shape and define operational processes and procedures for new assessment projects, and to own operational delivery in launched products. This role is critical in implementing day-to-day processes and procedures through pilot/beta phases, collating and apply learnings, and ensuring technical, product, and operational readiness in time for planned go-live. The role will own and deliver assessment operations during test windows, in business-as-usual product phases as well as during development. Working in a small specialist team, hands-on delivery of operational requirements is essential to the role.
The role of the Assessment Operations Lead will be to define the scope of the Operations Workstream for projects and to deliver on those workstreams’ commitments. The postholder will work alongside teams to support, review, develop, and document operational processes for the successful delivery of ongoing live operations. This role will work with others in the existing projects, ensuring that all ring-fenced resources and training needs are identified for a successful transfer to live operations, where they will continue to own delivery.
Please refer to the enclosed job description for the detailed key accountabilities in this role.
We operate a hybrid working policy that requires a minimum of 2 days per week in the Oxford office.
