About the Role
The Branch Market Development Manager will grow OE International sales revenue by working closely with high level stakeholders in international branch markets and be responsible, in partnership with the branches, for the strategic direction of the OE list within responsible regions. You will be responsible for identifying local opportunities and working collaboratively within the UK business to ensure OE deliver against these opportunities to maximize the potential of these markets. You will also be responsible for promoting the OE publishing list and qualifications, ensuring the product meets customer need (and if not creating a proposition for the right product).
Responsibilities in this role will be in the following key areas:
Strategic direction of OE list sales within region
Sales targets within region
Identifying local opportunities & enabling local teams to pursue
Product knowledge, promotion and training
Implementation of projects and new initiatives
Ensuring cross department and divisional alignment
Supply chain and sales support
Travel
Pricing and commercial viability management
Representing OUP within territory, furthering OUP’s global mission, and operating OUP International School business with the highest standards of professional and ethical business practices, in line with OUP’s values and Code of Conduct
We operate a hybrid working policy that requires a minimum of 2 days per week in the Oxford office.
About You
Essential:
Business and commercial acumen
A track record of successfully driving revenue
Presentation skills
Proven ability to work collaboratively across functions
Experience of sales and marketing techniques
Desirable:
Experienced in international travel
Project / people managing experience
Experience of working in an international marketplace
