NB This is a fixed term contract for a minimum period of 6 months.
As our new Content Solutions Specialist, you will combine business and process analysis with change management in order to ensure the delivery of digital content meets business needs and keeps in line with adapting to new business requirements. You will represent Transformation & Standards in change initiatives impacting one or more divisions, including preparing users to adopt new tools and/or ways of working, and will deliver change of operational business processes, working practices, systems, and support structures to achieve tangible business benefits. This is a fast-paced and varied role that supports and enables a digital first vision to be realised with adapting processes and tools to support with this.
Other duties of the role will include:
Perform gap analysis on department projects to identify and assess/define tool, process, and workflow requirements
Contribute to/support requirements definition, training, and user acceptance testing where appropriate on specific initiatives
Collaborate with stakeholders across different business areas, including 3rd party representatives to analyse systems and processes
Lead on lower-complexity operational improvements owned by Content Solutions
Ensure change methodologies and tools are used where appropriate
Maintain effective communication, including providing briefings, demonstrations, training, and workshopping
Contribute to the value stream Technology development/support process by providing research and assessment services
On specific initiatives, collaborate with external partners, such as offshore digital content suppliers or platform or content delivery technology providers
We operate a hybrid working policy that requires a minimum of 2 days per week in the Oxford office.
About You
Essential:
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, root-cause identification, and time-management skills
Excellent communication skills, particularly regarding change
Enthusiasm for leading change
Experience of change management, including impact and stakeholder assessment
Experience using content management systems/tools
Experience with standard business process concepts (iterative v waterfall; process life-cycle)
Ability to contextualize actions within business and departmental goals and principles
High degree of literacy and attention to detail
Desirable:
Knowledge of digital content architecture and management
Experience of working in a digital publishing environment
Experience in training and providing user documentation (e.g. user guidelines)
Experience managing successful digital projects
Experience directing and supporting third party typesetting and/or digitization suppliers
