Data Delivery Manager (Fixed Term Contract)

About the Role

The Data Delivery Manager is responsible for leading a team of data specialists to ensure the efficient delivery of high-quality Data Products to key accounts, new customers, and internal users. This role directly supports revenue growth and enhances operational quality and efficiency by overseeing data delivery, data quality assurance, and customer-focused solutions.

By fostering a culture of guided innovation, continuous learning, and professional development, you will empower the team to generate impactful new and more efficient data solutions that generate value for Oxford Languages and its customers.

Beyond operational leadership, you will provide technical vision and strategic guidance, ensuring that data processes and workflows adhere to industry best practices and align with business needs - this includes managing data import and export operations, optimizing data storage solutions, implementing quality consistent assurance, and ensuring seamless customer deliveries.

We operate a hybrid working policy that requires a minimum of 2 days per week in the Oxford office. 

About You

  • Proven experience of managing, developing, and empowering technical teams, both onsite and remote
  • Track-record in auditing, developing, and embedding manual and automated processes and procedures
  • Know-how and practice of working with structured data, such as XML and JSON and related technologies
  • Deep knowledge of QA methodologies and frameworks, including manual and automated software and data testing techniques
  • Competence in project management of technical projects using Agile and Waterfall
  • Experience of working with lexical or language data or systems is desirable

Please note, this is a 1 year fixed term contract.  As an internal candidates, when applying for a secondment, you must discuss the opportunity and gain approval with your line manager/department in advance of submitting an application.
