Head of Sales Enablement (Part Time)

More and more people are choosing to learn English.

When they do, they become part of an international community of English language learners. We are proud to be at that community's heart.

Our learning materials are trusted by millions of teachers, educational institutions, parents, and learners worldwide. They can teach and learn on their own terms, make progress, and achieve their goals.

Together, we move English language learning forward.

About the Role

Are you a strategic sales enablement leader ready to drive global impact? The English Language Teaching (ELT) Division at Oxford University Press is seeking a Head of Sales Enablement to lead the development and execution of our global sales enablement strategy. This new, pivotal role will ensure our ELT Educational Consultants and Team Managers are empowered with the tools, training, and insights needed to accelerate growth and deliver value to educators and learners worldwide.

You’ll lead an experienced team, partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Product, and oversee platforms like Highspot and Salesforce to drive performance and alignment. From onboarding and training to content creation and analytics, you’ll shape a culture of enablement across our global organisation.

Join us in transforming how we enable our teams - apply now to lead the future of ELT sales enablement at Oxford University Press.

We operate a hybrid working policy that requires a minimum of 2 days per week in the Oxford office.

About you

We’re looking for someone with proven experience in strategic sales enablement, strong leadership and communication skills, and a data-driven mindset. Experience in education, publishing, or ELT is a plus.

Other key skills required for the role are as follows:

  • Proven experience driving sales enablement programmes.
  • Able to use data to generate insights that inform future activity.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across a complex global business.
  • Change leadership experience, leading a team through transformation.
  • Experience with Salesforce and Highspot or equivalent sales enablement platform.

Please note that this is a part time role working 28 hours a week (0.8 FTE) and we are open to flexibility in working patterns.

Benefits

We care about work/life balance here at OUP. With this in mind we offer 25 days’ holiday that rises with service, plus bank holidays and Christmas closure (3-days) and a 35-hour working week. We are open to discussing flexibility in respect to working patterns, dependent on role. We also have a great variety of active employee networks and societies.

We help make your money go further by contributing to your pension up to 12%, offering loans and savings schemes through our partnership with Salary Finance, in addition to travel to work schemes and access to a wide range of local discounts.

This role comes with the added benefit of private medical insurance and a management bonus.
