Performance Marketing Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Digital Advertising Marketing Professional to join a dynamic central Marketing team in our Education Division which serves as a hub of marketing excellence for the business. The Performance Marketing Manager is to drive brand discoverability and web traffic in order to generate leads and web sales via the management, execution and optimization of digital advertising, ensuring that our paid channels continue to perform above ROI benchmarks and meet annual targets for the UK and International sectors, continuously supporting our e-commerce revenue generation.

Key responsibilities in this role will include:

  • Manage and execute digital advertising campaigns across different markets, within budget and in support of marketing strategies
  • Align digital advertising execution with other media and channel plans, including Amazon, in partnership with wider marketing teams
  • Maximize conversion and return through optimization of campaigns
  • Collaborate with marketing and web teams to improve search engine optimization
  • Ensure conversion tracking is up to date and rolled out as necessary
  • Conduct keyword analysis and provide creative recommendations (copywriting, visual assets), audience/segmentation insights
  • Provide training on key PPC channels
  • Deliver clear and concise campaign performance reports to marketing stakeholders.

We operate a hybrid working policy that requires a minimum of 2 days per week in the Oxford office. 

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

  • Experience of managing, executing and optimizing digital advertising campaigns to meet campaign objectives – particularly for Google Ads (P-Max, Shopping, Search & Display), Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok and Microsoft Ads.
  • Experience of delivering web marketing campaigns in-house or with an agency.
  • Experience managing relationships with Google, LinkedIn and Meta representatives.
  • Good understanding of SEO.
  • Strong understanding of Google Analytics 4 and its use for performance measurement.
  • Experience with conversion tracking (Insight tags, Pixel tags, Google Tag Manager)
  • Experience of using keyword and auction insights to inform campaigns.
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Ads and Conversion APIs (desirable)
