About the Role
This role will join the growing Sales Effectiveness team within International Education, working in close collaboration with colleagues in international sales and editorial and colleagues across the world, to support schools and booksellers in over 170 countries. To find out more, visit:
This role is particularly exciting as it provides you with the opportunity to work with colleagues across multiple markets and countries and take a leading role in the training and development of our global sales teams. You will work with Sales Enablement colleagues, Sales Managers and the wider team to provide Education Consultants with key curriculum, product and market knowledge to improve sales technique and increase sales revenue. This involves developing and delivering training, creating sales tools and training manuals, and also feeding into product development.
A typical day may include delivering a webinar, talking with colleagues in Asia, attending a product meeting with sales, marketing and editorial and answering detailed product or curriculum queries from the global sales team.
This role will have a key focus on our publishing for our IB and Cambridge lists (although this is subject to change based on department priorities) and is perfect for someone with sales and/or marketing experience, who enjoys delivering training, and who enjoys working in a fast-paced, dynamic and collaborative team. This is a very visible role, that works with teams across the whole of the Education division.
We operate a hybrid working policy that requires a minimum of 2 days per week in the Oxford office.
About You
You will be a strong, confident communicator who enjoys supporting and training others, is able to build strong relationships and work collaboratively and has demonstrable sales and/or marketing experience.
The successful candidate will have:

Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, ability to work closely and collaboratively with marketing colleagues, sales managers and sales teams throughout the world
Excellent communication, presentation (verbal and written) and training skills
Excellent collaboration, influencing and facilitation skills
International Education market knowledge
Strong analytical skills
Ability to work and travel independently
Desirable:
Proven sales skills across a large portfolio
Experience of training delivery
Experience with CRM and data analytics
