About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded Data & Analytics Lead: Real Estate & Workplace to join the Property and Facilities department. These are exciting times for us as we build our capabilities as a Workplace team. This role requires the postholder to lead and deliver the data strategy across Real Estate & Workplace Centre of Excellence (CoE). It involves building a data and analytics capability from the ground up and implementing data systems across the Real Estate & Workplace team.
Reporting in to the Real Estate & Workplace Director the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
Develop creative and impactful analyses to drive real estate & workplace decisions and strategies
Create tools that enable the Real Estate and Workplace team to work more efficiently and effectively to deliver projects
Manage the Press’s property/lease database (hosted by an external provider) and ensure that portfolio data is maintained accurately
Implementing dashboards for effective monitoring of CoE’s performance against SLA/KPI’s
Preparation of monthly / strategic reports
Proactively support the Real Estate & Workplace team by collecting data, analyse & reporting
Support budget management, liaising with finance to ensure costs are monitored and controlled.
Assist with development of financial business cases and ensuring consistency in quality and depth of analysis for each project
Identify and implement system and data improvement initiatives to ensure continuous improvement
We’re all currently working from home at the moment due to COVID. We are currently thinking through how we use our offices in the future and are open to discussing flexibility within this such as a blend of office and home working.
About You
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experiences:
Strong computer skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, graphs and storyboarding to effectively communicate real estate strategies to senior leadership
Strong capabilities in financial modelling
Strong understanding of real estate and development industry
Understanding of the whole property life cycle.
Relevant work experience, preferably in a global environment
Strong computer skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, graphs and storyboarding to effectively communicate real estate strategies to senior leadership
Have a consultative approach to problem solving
Passionate to make an impact
Energized by creative and insightful analyses
Ability to work both independently and cooperatively in a fast-paced environment
