Reporting to the Head of Technology Architecture, the Enterprise Architect for Integration is responsible for the strategy and roadmaps for connecting all elements of our reference architecture, including cloud-based applications and services. This individual is also responsible for developing and maintaining the application integration architecture blueprint, enterprise wide for all divisions and central functions.
You`ll put Integration at the heart of our digital transformation journey, defining the integration standards, recommending new technologies to modernise the estate, and driving their adoption, through working with our delivery teams and partners to implement the right operating models to drive the benefits of a decoupled architecture with highly re-useable components.
This is an exciting time to join OUP as we embark on the next phases of our major transformation programme, including cloud migration, data driven services, global application consolidation and driving digital services both internally and with our customers.
About You
You'll require:
Excellent knowledge of architecture and integration techniques for the assembly and federation of both internal and external IT Solutions.
Architecture experience of working within hybrid cloud environments, across on-premise, AWS and Azure environments.
Experience of setting the Integration Architecture strategy, reference architecture and defining a technology domain roadmap.
Experience of defining Integration Patterns to meet different application, service and business needs.
Demonstrable experience of specific Integration architecture and design techniques including microservices, SOA, API and Event driven architectures, REST, EAI, ETL and Stream-based integration (SDI).
Experience with modern cloud integration product sets such as Tibco, MuleSoft, Boomi, Apigee, and cloud API gateway products (Google, AWS or Azure).
Experience of open source Integration capabilities such as Apache Camel.
Experience of working with, and ideally a certification in TOGAF, Zachman, or similar.
