Marketing Assistant

As the worlds largest University Press we offer a multitude of  opportunities who want to start their career in Publishing, this role would suit an organised, creative, and highly motivated graduate or equivalent work with us in our busy Academic department.

As part of the Marketing team your duties would include:

  • Producing marketing materials in liaison with marketing colleagues and authors
  • Curating social media content and monitoring social media campaigns
  • Creating digital content (including author videos, blog posts, infographics etc)
  • Representing OUP at conferences and book launches and assist with event preparation and promotion
  • Conducting research and performing outreach for promotional opportunities
  • Maintaining internal systems to ensure promotional material is up to date

You will be able to work on your own initiative, as part of a busy team, and be highly organised and able to prioritise your workload. You should be of graduate caliber (or equivalent), have a very high standard of literacy and a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a good knowledge of IT packages, although training will be given.

As part of our attractive benefits package we offer a 35 hour working week with 25 days holiday and pension contributions of up to 11%.
