Marketing Manager, Education and Consumer Campaigns

ABOUT THE ROLE

This Marketing Manager role has been created to drive the launch campaign for our new portfolio of exam preparation and revision publishing. This will be a dynamic role, which will suit an omni-channel marketer, keen to develop their expertise across all areas of the marketing mix, and with a variety of customer groups, specifically teachers, booksellers, parents and students. The role will include delivery of the launch strategy and ongoing development of a new product brand. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Successful delivery of the launch campaign for a series of new publishing, working across our schools and home team, owning the marketing budget and campaign plan across all channels.
  • Create an omni-channel marketing approach, reaching a range of audiences with appropriate messaging/tone and platform.
  • Create and commission engaging digital content to support the product launch, working with ambassadors, spokespeople and influencers.
  • Work with external agencies to develop the positioning, PR, consumer advertising and social strategy for launch and series build.
  • Gather data on campaign results to inform future activity, sharing insights and analysis with wider stakeholders.

We operate a hybrid working policy and expect this role to require 1-2 days per week in our Oxford office.

ABOUT YOU

  • Marketing experience, with a focus on digital channels
  • Ability to interrogate customer and marketing data and generate insights
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and team working skills
  • Innovative and creative
  • Experience of managing a budget
  • Ability to prioritise a heavy workload with maximum attention to detail
  • Good presentation skills
  • Experience of managing projects

Desirable:

  • Publishing or marketing qualifications (e.g. CIM)
  • Previous experience marketing to consumers, specifically parents and students
  • Knowledge of school’s market
