Sales Enablement Specialist

About the Role

This role is within the friendly and creative international marketing team who work in close collaboration with the international sales and editorial teams to support schools and booksellers in over 170 countries. To find out more about our international education department, visit:



The Sales Enablement Specialist role is particularly exciting as the post holder will work closely with our global sales, marketing and publishing colleagues to provide key curriculum, product and market knowledge to our sales teams around the world. The role enables sales colleagues to meet their targets through the provision of sales tools, regular face-to-face and online product training, consultative sales training and in-market coaching. The role also supports the planning and effective delivery of internal sales conferences and regional sales meetings.

The post-holder will also make use of their considerable competitor and market knowledge to contribute to the development of commercially successful publishing.

The role is based in Oxford but gives the post holder the opportunity to undertake significant travel across a variety of markets. We will consider applications from those who wish to work part time who have considerable experience.

About You

You will be a creative, sales and customer–focused individual who learns quickly and has the ability to understand and respond to market needs and changing priorities, driving the continual development of our sales enablement strategy globally.

The successful candidate will have:


  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, ability to work closely and collaboratively with marketing colleagues, sales managers and sales teams throughout the world.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (verbal and written).
  • Excellent collaboration, influencing and facilitation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Proven sales and/or marketing skills or experience in sales training.
  • Ability to work and travel independently.


  • In-depth knowledge of UK and international curricula, the international education market, and the wider education landscape.
