About the Role
As our new Head of OxfordAQA Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and delivering the OxfordAQA marketing, PD and events strategy across core markets/segments to build brand and market share, deliver commercial objectives, maximise return on investment and achieve sustainable sales growth. You will ensure that strong relationships are in place across OUP and AQA for clear alignment of marketing and brand strategies, leveraging best practice and driving economies of scale.
Duties will include:
Provision of a full marketing service to OxfordAQA, supporting multi-channel demand and lead generation campaigns across events, sponsorships, digital marketing, content marketing, communications and PR.
Understand customers’ pain points and how OxfordAQA and competitor products provide solutions, developing global and regional marketing messaging and plans to meet customer need.
Supports the delivery of OxfordAQA’s professional development services to meet customer and business needs as part of our integrated offer.
Drives strong sales and marketing alignment through use of CRM and marketing technology and data, and processes that support effective lead management, customer acquisition and retention.
As a member of the OxfordAQA SLT, contribute to the long-term success of the business.
Manage the process of reporting back to the business, OUP and AQA on marketing plans and efficacy.
We operate a hybrid working policy that requires a minimum of 2 days per week in the Oxford office.
About You
Essential:
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience of setting and leading commercially-focused marketing strategy
Knowledge of the education and qualifications sectors
Experience of digital marketing and marketing digital product
Excellent presentational and interpersonal skills across teams
Desirable:
Experience of marketing at a senior level
Experience of setting and managing budgets
Experience of using management information systems to analyse business performance and market trends
