About the role

The Higher Education Sales department is looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to provide essential support to our sales managers.

This role has interaction with lots of different departments and would be a great introduction for candidates that are interested in how publishing works and understanding the industry. It would suit individuals with a strong admin background looking to use their skills within a different setting.

 Responsibilities include:

  • Providing administrative support for the Head of Sales and a team of four Sales Managers.
  • Providing regular reports, sales analysis and general administrative support to UK, Europe and Middle East sales teams.
  • Running the Higher Education custom and special bulk purchase promotions processes.
  • The tracking and transfer of Higher Education stock levels.
  • Processing eBook statements and usage reports.
  • Taking on a systems key user role and providing support and training for internal teams.
  • Delivering a high level of service both to customers and internal colleagues.

About you

The successful candidates will need to demonstrate:

  • A high level of computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel (Intermediate).
  • Excellent organisation skills and ability to juggle a busy and varied workload.
  • Experience of data analysis and very keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Enthusiasm to work and interact with various sales teams.
