Marketing Assistant

Oxford University Press seeks an enthusiastic and motivated candidate for the position of Marketing Assistant in the Global STM team. This role is based in the Oxford office working within a global team.

We are looking for an organised, enthusiastic, creative, and highly motivated team member to join this busy department. As part of the STM team your duties would include:

  • Producing marketing materials in liaison with marketing colleagues and authors
  • Curating social media content and monitoring social media campaigns
  • Creating digital content (including author videos, blog posts, infographics etc)
  • Representing OUP at conferences and book launches and assist with event preparation and promotion
  • Conducting research and performing outreach for promotional opportunities
  • Maintaining internal systems to ensure promotional material is up to date

About you

You will be able to work on your own initiative, as part of a busy team, and be highly organised and able to prioritise your workload. You should be of graduate calibre (or equivalent), have a very high standard of literacy and a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a good knowledge of IT packages, although training will be given.
