About the Role
This role is within the friendly and creative team international marketing team who work in close collaboration with UK colleagues and the international sales and editorial teams to support schools and booksellers in over 170 countries. To find out more, visit:
The role is particularly exciting as it is responsible for regional marketing and it provides the post holder with the opportunity to learn about multiple markets across multiple countries. The post holder will develop, manage and implement regional marketing initiatives for international resources and customer segments, in order to increase brand awareness, sales revenue and market share.
A typical day might include writing marketing strategy, monitoring budgets, holding a catch-up meeting with key stakeholders in region, presenting a campaign plan and creating digital content for use on social media. No one day is ever the same!
We operate a hybrid working policy that requires a minimum of 2 days per week in the Oxford office.
About You
You will be a creative, customer-focused individual who learns quickly and has the ability to understand and respond to market need, driving the continual development of our regional marketing strategy.
The successful candidate will have:
Essential:
Experience of working in marketing and/or publishing
Experience of managing a budget
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and team working skills
Ability to manage a heavy workload with maximum attention to detail without losing sight of overall objective
Well organised and able to prioritise
Quick to learn a range of IT systems
Innovative
Desirable:
Publishing or marketing qualification (e.g. CIM)
Knowledge of schools market
Experience of managing projects
